Having frozen my pay for close on ten years because I refused to sign a contract which would slash my holiday entitlement in half and remove any limit on weekly working hours, my employers now propose to fire me unless I sign it. If you're a British student thinking of teaching in further education: don't.
Site redesigned. If I've buggered something up in the process, please let me know. I do know that it only 'sort of' works in Netscape and Mozilla - I'll get around to fixing that some time. In the meantime: my apologies.
I've put some of those fancy brake lever/gear shifter thingummies on my racing bike. I think I could now move incredibly fast if I didn't keep falling off.
My mate John's back at 'work'.
Apart from that, everything's the same as usual in sunny Cornwall. The garden's overgrown, the house unpainted, my employers still haven't given me a pay rise since 1993, but the scenery's beautiful and the local Guinness as good as ever.
