"A country without history is like a person without a memory."

The purpose of this site is twofold:

1. To share my work some of which, has been completed whilst reading for a BA in History and English Literature studies, in the hope that it will offer suggestions for form and content, as others experience their neuroses; seemingly an obligatory state during the process of meeting 'deadlines'.

2. Identity, and thus a sound sense of self-worth is conducive to good mental health. History and its relevant literature offer insight and a greater understanding and acceptance of 'self'' which inevitably aids in the making of informed choices, which are beneficial to positive personal growth and (hopefully) subsequent 'just' policy-making at government level.

My prime aim will be to bring awareness, initially through my Dissertation, of the continued 'abuse' of women, and offer an understanding; thus helping in the way forward for both sexes, who ultimately destroy their lives through ignorance.

Contributions to ALL areas of my site will be valued, and some shared, but my special thanks will go to anyone who finds the time and courage to share their professional and/or personal experiences which they feel may help the individual trying to survive abuse; ultimately aiding in addressing the problem in society as a whole.
An index of 'help-lines' will be available, or mail me for help.

First love 'self'
